ok...made it through the adoption sections and I was pleasantly surprised to find very little to disagree with.  bigthumbsup

will anything come of it though?

Wow, I think we're in agreement. What can this mean?   Hmmmm LOL

I've read through the adoption stuff. It was actually much more than I expected. Transparency as a guiding principle, evidence-based policies, actual consistency in policies between the three different types of adoption, a regular schedule of policy reviews to ensure that they are still in keeping with the current adoption landscape.   wide eyed

Not to mention subsidies for families adopting from CAS (a la Alberta), intercountry adoption of older children, concurrent adoptions, support for 52 weeks of adoption leave. And I'm not mentioning (or am forgetting) lots and lots.

I hope we see something come of it too. Only time will tell.
